ImBlaze Release Notes - Oct 19, 2026
✨ Updates
New Admin Setting - Introduced a new setting - Request Limiter- that allows schools to limit the number of pending requests a student can have. Students cannot submit new requests once they reach the limit. By default schools have no limit.
Student Outreach - If an internship does not yet have a Mentor assigned, students will see the Company phone number in the Outreach step on their Home page.
IC Attendance Tab - Added a filter dropdown to filter attendance data by IC.
Opportunity details view - Updated the Organization Details section to hide the organization’s email and phone number from the student view (still visible for educators).
🐛 Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where an Advisor could approve requests in 'Request Pending Advisor' status even though the Internship record was already marked as filled by another student.
Student Apps - Fixed an issue preventing all wishlist items from displaying in the student profile’s Wishlist subtab.
Compliance - Fixed an issue where the compliance share date was displayed as the previous date in certain timezones.
Portal in-app notifications - Fixed the missing close button in the top-right corner of the notification list.
Fixed an issue where the Advisor Settings option was not loading.
Fix for ImBlaze/BU notification emails to come from the imblaze.org domain. Previously they showed the correct ImBlaze display name (e.g., ImBlaze Do Not Reply, Timesheet | ImBlaze + BU ) but came from a Salesforce address, which may have caused some of them to land in spam.
Email Notifications - Fix for advisors not receiving email notifications of requests being denied by ICs.
Quests: Fixed an issue that prevented the Quests tab from loading in the Portal.
Student Apps - Update released to ensure that an invalid exception related to instance selection is not written into our exception logs. This keeps the log records clean and valid.
Fixed an issue where the student name was not merging correctly in the in-app notification list for B-Unbound portal users.
