Release Updates: Sept. 2025

September 29th:  ImBlaze Portal  

• IC - Admin Settings - Student Announcement message - Fix for character counter not being respected. It will now show a validation text and the Save Setting button will be disabled.

• Fix for exception being thrown when a user is created with the user account status as Inactive. 

September 23rd:  ImBlaze Portal  

1. Internship profession picklist values have been updated and existing records updated according to the new mapping. 

2. Fix for suggestion denied email not being sent.

September 22nd: ImBlaze 2.0 - iOS V5 Release ( Hotfix Update)

• Fix for students getting 'Instance Configuration Failed' message on trying to login to ImBlaze via the iOS student app.  

Note: This was an issue only for users on iOS version 16 or lower. 

September 19th:  ImBlaze / B-Unbound Student App - V4 Release

V4 update for both ImBlaze & BUnbound iOS & Android has been released to the stores. 

Features/Fixes included in  the release

1. Students will be able to make regular suggestions if external search is OFF from the Recommended tab / All tab.  Students will also be given the option to make a suggestion at the end of the external list of orgs. 

2. Fix for the time continuing to tick post the check-out ( Note: this was only in the UX and was not updating the time log in the backend). 

3. Fix - typo in external company loading scroll text. 

4. Fix  for custom topics getting duplicated when user edited custom topics. 

5. Fix for latency in Next step modal image loading

6. Addressed UX feedbacks

September 12th:  ImBlaze Portal

• Fix for exception thrown for Advisors on adding opportunities.

• Fix for invalid dates shown in the Date slider in mentor verification page.

September 9th:  ImBlaze Portal

• Internship Recommendations Feedback - Students will be presented with a upvote/downvote option against each internship card shown in the Recommended list. If students downvote a recommendation, they will be provided an option to choose the reason/give additional comments on why they did not like the recommendation.

September 5th:  Portal Fix

• Fix for moments not shown in Experience  Details ( Home tab details) -> Attendance sub tab.

September 4th:  Portal & EdApp Fixes

• EdApp - Fix for moments showing up as Alerts in Educator Home tab. 

• Portal - Fix for student announcements not showing up.

September 3rd:  ImBlaze Portal HotFixes

• Fix for infinite spinner being shown to students on Record hours ( in portal) when there were no custom questions.

• Fix for exception on Publish Suggestions by Regional Admins

September 3rd: ImBlaze Portal

• District Sharing - If a school shares an internship record with IC Can View Only permission, the students of the receiving school will not be able to view the internship. They will be able to see it only if the Owner school has shared it with Student Can Request permission. 

• Suggestion Flow

a. Updates to handle issues in the Suggestion flow when Auto-approval was ON and IC's edit the internship in the Suggestion Response step.

b. Updates to language to indicate request auto-approval (if Setting is On) on Suggestion publish.
